Welcome!

Thanks for checking in on us. Karly Lorraine Stafford was born Dec 20, 2012 at 12:12 am in Reno, Nevada. Nine months before this moment, our lives changed forever. This blog is pictures and comments of our new life and fabulous new journey. Luckily, it's expected to learn this parenting stuff as you go!

Memorial Weekend 2012

We drove to Montague to see Jesse's family. Our plans to go camping
got postponed due to cold weather and sick babies!
Hopefully next weekend will be better.

What happened to my baby that wouldn't take the plug?

Karly with her cousins!

Jesse being 'forced' to play games with us!

Weather was better Sunday so we got to spend the day at Iron Gate Lake
with Grandpa Tom and James and Makenna.
K didn't know what to think about that life jacket!

Happy girl! Can't wait to see Grandma next!

First miserable lizard of the year for the Wallace kiddos.
Makenna always wants to keep them.

James determined to find more.

Nice picnic lunch. Hopefully we will have a summer full of wonderful
weekends here. Just wish it was a little bit closer!

5 months old!

I love bath time and have figured out how to
chew on the washcloths!

I don't have a great video yet but she can roll all  over
and loves to be on the floor with toys!

Our first attempt at fresh baby food. So far she eats oatmeal, bananas,
avocado and there are carrots in the freezer that we haven't tried yet.

And she'll eat whatever these fun things are!

I can sit up by myself for a couple minutes at a time.
This time, I was watching Daddy play video games.

I got hydrangeas for Mothers Day; I have a wonderful husband!
And a plant from my MIL but I haven't seen her yet...

My shot of the solar eclipse, through Jesse's welding helmet!

5 months old, hooray!

Helping Mom with the garden and practicing with my new sippy cup!

Great new headbands from Aunt Tara! Absolutely can't wait to come up
and see everyone. Hopefully Memorial Day will turn out great, fingers
crossed the rain comes early!

I'm 4 months old!

Now that she can roll from her tummy, Karly spends some time on the floor
with her toys everyday. She is very close to rolling from her back!

Jesse built me a garden (just realized I don't have a finished picture of it).
I'll post one soon. Karly hung out outside with us while I pulled weeds.
Hooray for no more weeds!

We went for a nice walk in the sunshine yesterday.
Her hat is almost too small already. Andy, look at the green soccer fields!

Here are her 4 month pictures. She was chewing on the sticker.
Guess it tasted good. Such a smiley girl!

I got this little jumper at the consignment sale (on the half off day!)
So far she really likes it! Jesse just rolls his eyes that it's another big
thing in the living room!

First Easter

Happy Easter!

We went on a hike Sunday to enjoy the beautiful sunshine!
I got everyone in the picture but the dogs are kind of cut off.
Kris was really worried the bush was in front of her face.

Karly's easter baskets. Thank you Grandma Tammy!
The pink bunny is from Tina :) Jesse and I really enjoyed the chocolate!

This is actually Saturday night but it was our first dinner at the table "together."

Our trip to Oregon

Karly turned 3 months old right before we left; time is flying!

We took a week long road trip to visit family and see our
new cousin Parker in Salem. Most of the pictures were taken with
Tara's camera, but here are a few. We had a great time and
really hated coming back to work!

My college roomies Kim and Alex.
We can't go through Eugene without seeing them!

Cousin Parker really likes his naps (so does his mom!)

I finally took some time to work on Karly's baby book. Great sister time!

Andy said they were happy here until we brought in the camera.

Karly back at the sitters. She sure loves Michelle!

Video of Karly's chatter. She became a little talker while we were gone!

Karly's School Pictures

Karly's daycare did "school pictures." Had I known they were going to use her green blanket as part of the "black" background, I probably would have put her in a different shirt!

This one's my favorite!
